The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Above The Law, trained by A. Oliver, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Missile Command, trained by Jane M. Foley, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Stewards enquired into an incident after the entrance into the straight involving Califante (GB), ridden by Katherine S. O'Brien, placed second and Mountain Coral, ridden by J.P. O'Brien, placed fourth. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that Katherine S. O'Brien had made a manoeuvre which contributed to the incident and consequently cautioned her to ride with more care.
